SS19 "Summer 68"

The collection; Summer 68’, celebrates a reconnect with history, heritage and craftsmanship. In a time of fake news, SS19 provides an escape from reality and carries an air of nostalgia for an era that represented a time of change; the 1960’s. Bollywood's cinematography was at the height of ‘The Golden Age’, whilst Britain represented a time of revolution; of colour, freedom and people returning to a connection with nature and themselves. The collection’s pastel experiential colour palette is inspired by Bollywood’s first ever 1960’s colourised film; Mughal E-Azam, which defined the decade and the famous quintessential Beatles photoshoot "The Mad Day” Summer ’68” by Tom Murray.
